Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Arseniy Galashov2024-09-05Absolutely totally super amazing experience. This park was created as a place primarly for locals, it is run by two friends, Stefanos and George. Sometimes there are also people from other countries (!) who come to help them. Very chill and friendly atmosphere, very good people. They have good coffee and food is also good, especially considering that the place is at least 30-40 minutes from supermarket. Guys really try a lot to make this place good. I am somewhat angry on comments that say "the lake is dry, nothing to do here". Yeah come on, it happens sometimes, next year there will be much more water per weather forecast. We still could bath a lot, the water is totally safe and pleasant, and also very warm. Because of less water, we could see lake turtles, which is not possible when lake is full. More detailed: First, Stefanos took us (2 persons) from our hotel in a comfortable car to hike early in the morning. There we had amazing views, and great smalltalks. He answered all of our questions about Rhodes and Greece. He prepared for each of us water and traditional greek snacks. We had breakfast, so we ate them later near the lake. Then, he brought us to the lake. While driving, he told us a lot about places we were driving through. For example, near a very known and touristic wine village, there is a smaller one with much less tourists and probably even better wine. Now we know, thanks Stefanos. We had quick stops at least a couple of times to make photos of absolutely amazing views. Stefanos was very flexible, if we wanted we could have lunch or something like that but we were not hungry. When we arrived at the lake, he made us coffee with ice cream. It was too hot and to avoid sunburns, before bathing we started with zipline. George explained safety rules and everything, and we did it. Really cool stuff. Then, there was archery. George kindly showed us how to do it, and we could do it as long as we wanted. Then, we ride sups and bathed. Because of two dry years in a row, local farms had to take a lot of water from the lake. Still, it is absolutely safe and warm. Water has microalgae, the non-toxic ones but it is pleasant regardless. We enjoyed it. Then, we had a short trip to horse riding stable, about 30 minutes from the lake. In previous years, horses were rented from another place and they were available on spot in the park. But this year, to-be rental horses were not in a good shape - the owner didn't care about them. Because of that (!), Stefanos and George cooperated with another stable, which rescues horses from very bad conditions from all over the island, and gives them a very easy job - tourists can have a slow trip on horses' backs to the beach. I don't think this stable makes a lot of profit, if any at all, it's all for the sake of horses. And horses are in a good shape, also the story is true, we see it as professionals. Just one tip about this horse riding - you will swim with them, while you seat on them, so use some sandals or croks that can handle salty water :D Afterwards, George took us back to the lake. It was already quite late, so Stefanos made us a snack and took us to the hotel. To the other side of the island (!). It would cost us a fortune to hire a taxi, for example. During back trip, we had a great chat. Stefanos and George made this park also to increase enviromental awareness of children, next year there will be workshops of waste sorting, for example. From this and other talks, it was evident that Stefanos and George really care about the lake park, about the island in general. Also Stefanos suggested some places near our hotel worth a visit, and suggested us two only good places to dine in Faliraki, which are even worth a visit from our hotel. All in all, we can only recommend. We are very grateful to the guys for the amazing time, and that we could financially support their park to make it even better in the future. I suggest to contact Stefanos with Whatsapp, and arrange the whole day as we did. You can find the number on their website.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Phil Banks2024-09-04Awesome place! Totally chilled atmosphere, great fun kayaking, zip wiring and doing archery, as well as a quick blast around the lake on the e-sup! Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, highly recomended!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.F M2024-08-29Sehr schöne Anlage mit diversen Aktivitäten, und kleiner Gaststätte. Als wir im August da waren hatte der See leider kaum Pegel, daher musste man etwas weiter laufen zum Einstieg.
